A true classic from the Siena Chianti Classico area. The Pontignanello vineyards are perfectly situated in the soft rolling hills of Chianti to ensure a continuous maturity and perfect ageing of the grapes. 15 days in stainless steel then a second fermentation in cement tanks before resting for 2 years in oak casks. A further 6 months maturing in the bottle to produce a refined and elegant red wine, with a big personality. Perfect for ragu sauces, red meats, aged cheeses and spicy dishes.
