Delightful, naturally coloured organic strozzapreti. The colours represent the Italian flag and the white is a classic durum wheat, the green comes from the addition of nettles (yes nettles! they are very popular in Italian cuisine and go particularly well with pasta) and the red from dried chillies and all rigorously from Organic farming.

Strozzapreti (which means Priest Strangler!) is an excellent shape for tomato or pesto based sauces. It is also often served with mushrooms or mixed vegetables, with bacon and cream, spicy sausages or meat ragu sauces. Lots of combinations of ingredients are possible.  This high quality organic strozzapreti is great looking on the plate and as all the Montebello pastas, cooks to perfection and tastes delicioius.
