Pandoro (Golden bread) is a traditional Italian sweet bread-cake eaten all over Italy during the Christmas period. Our beautifully handwrapped version is incredibly light, moist and fragrant, it really does literally melt in the mouth!
It is made by the Fiasconaro brothers in Sicily, for generations a family-owned bakery. The 3 brothers who run the bakery today still rigorously uphold the local artisan traditions of their father and grandfather. This is slowfood at its best - each cake taking nearly 4 days to bake!
