This Venison Ragu' sauce is a delicious blend of some of the finest Italian ingredients. Prime Tuscan venison is very tender and lean and has a lovely delicate taste - in fact even Italian kids love it! Best served on long pasta like tagliatelle or linguine, but also combines well with medium length pasta like pennone. Pairs superbly with our award winning 24 month PDO Parmesan cheese.

Tip: Add 2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to the sauce and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, then mix the pasta into it. Remember, Italians don't smother the pasta in sauce and that's why the quality of pasta is so important. The pasta should have a nice coating of sauce rather than swimming in it!
