This is a very special version of the classic Nocino liqueur. It is made by the Petrone Distillery from Mondragone, a small town just north of Naples in Campania.
Nocino is a natural liqueur made from wild walnuts which are still green and unripe, so have yet to harden. Tradition has it that to make the best Nocino, the walnuts must be picked from June 24th, the Festa di San Giovanni or St. John's Day.
The Petrone Nocino Riserva is made from the infusion of walnuts and specially selected herbs and spices. It is left to mellow for years in French barriques to create an elegant liqueur of balanced structure and refined personality. It is dark, bold but not overly aggressive, and intensely aromatic with notes of walnut and spices.
Nocino has an avid group of aficionados in Italy and you can find hundreds of different recipes for it throughout the country. If you've never tried it before, here is a version that is certain to welcome you to the fray!
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The Antica Distilleria Petrone was founded by Antimo Petrone and his wife Maria 130 years ago in Campania. Today, 5 generations later, Andrea Petrone continues to run the distillery with the same passion and values as his great, great grandparents. The recipes, traditional artisan production methods and the quality and provenance of the ingredients remain unchanged. All the liqueurs are totally natural and free of any kind of additive.
HOW TO USE - SUGGESTIONS
Nocino can be served chilled or at room temperature. There is often great debate over which is the best or right way to drink it. We prefer chilled in the summer as a refreshing aperitivo and no ice in winter as a warming digestivo.
Often served with coffee after a meal.
Wonderful drizzled over icecream.
Try it with dark chocolate (be careful, very addictive!)
It also makes a classy ingredient for creams or custard mixes.
INGREDIENTS
Walnuts, herbs and spices, alcohol, sugar.

The Limoncello is full of bright citrus notes and a sparkling fresh, invigorating taste.
If you've ever visited the Bay of Naples area, Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast, chances are you'll have experienced the wonderful local Limoncello in some form or another. The coastal area of Campania is home to some of the finest and most aromatic lemons in the world and it's no coincidence that this lemon liqueur has become synonymous with the area.
Our limoncello is prepared by the Antica Distilleria Petrone from Mondragone, just north of Naples. In 2011, the Petrone Limoncello was chosen by a select panel of international experts to represent Italy around Europe as part of the Excellence in Food programme.
It is based on a 130 year old recipe and uses only quality, natural ingredients including IGP lemons from Sorrento. These lemons have a higher natural content of essential oils which gives a particularly vivacious and refreshing lemon flavour.

Fragolino (also known as Rosolio) is an ancient, enigmatic liqueur made from tiny wild strawberries, fragolini di bosco.
In the woodland areas around the Bay of Naples in Campania, patient hands collect these delicate fruits one by one as soon as they reach full ripeness. They are then placed in the bottle to impart their sweet and distinctive flavours and since the infusion occurs directly in the bottle, it ensures the true essence of the fruit is captured.
Its gorgeous deep red tones and rich aroma and taste converge to create a refined liqueur perfect for any occasion. It is extremely versatile and its unique personality will brighten up many other ingredients. See our suggestions for a few ideas.

A totally natural, refreshing and aromatic liqueur made from wild myrtle berries by the Petrone family in Campania.
Red myrtle liqueur is a true classic from Sardinia and the Naples/Sorrento coastal area. Wild myrtle bushes thrive in these zones and produce succulent berries impossible to find anywhere else. The berries are hand-picked between November and January.
Petrone's Myrtle Liqueur is gracefully smooth and harmonious in character with a rich aroma. It has a pronounced fruitiness and notes of Juniper, Eucalyptus and spice with a distinctive and rewarding bitter-sweet finale. Its attractive deep red colour with brilliant violet reflexes completes the sensorial attraction of this quintessential Mediterranean liqueur.

This delicious and invigorating orange liqueur is exactly the same as Limoncello, but made with the amazing oranges which grow in the citrus groves of the Naples/Sorrento coastal area.
The peel from these huge, succulent oranges is slowly infused in alcohol and sugar until all the natural essential oils and flavour have permeated through to produce a genuine, full-bodied fruit liqueur. Its orange fragrance is something to behold and it possesses a citrus freshness often missing from more "illustrious" orange liqueurs.
It makes a perfect aperitivo for any occasion and a lovely palate cleanser after a meal.
