Delicious traditional polenta is so easy to prepare, just add water, heat and stir. This is the yellow polenta flour made from carefully selected maize cultivated in the Po Valley in north Italy (best quality). It then follows the traditional stone-grounding method which leaves a course flour and produces a perfect polenta, full of flavour.
Polenta is an incredibly versatile ingredient and makes a great alternative to potatoes, rice or pasta. Use it as a side to meat dishes or as a base for hearty ragu sauces.
