Scrumptious Regañas are flat wheat crackers made with extra virgin olive oil.
Originating in Andalucia, they’ve been around in Spain for at least 1000 years as the perfect ship’s biscuit, dry and high in energy. They were a favourite for long sea voyages and many believe Columbus himself used them onhis travels.
These Regañas are artisan produced with sesame seeds to add flavour and goodness. Thin with a gorgeous crispiness!
Best of all, they are nutritious and low in calories, which is good as they are so moreish, it’s difficult to stop eating them!
Try them on their own as a tasty snack or with platters of cheese and cured meats. They are the perfect accompaniment to Tapas and are brilliant for dipping. Try them with a good pate or in gazpacho.
