The Campagnolo is a superb artisan Pecorino cheese made from high quality ewe’s milk in the mountain area of Umbria and Lazio.
It is aged for six months in grotte, caves and has a semi-hard, cream coloured paste which is slightly brittle, combining elegant fragrance and emphatic flavours.
The Campagnolo is a limited production cheese and each piece bears its own serial number.
This is how Italian cheeses were made once upon a time and with over a century of cheese-making expertise and artistry, the Petrucci family have made the Campagnolo one of their signature products.
It is perfect as a stand-alone cheese on a quality cheeseboard or can be combined with cured meats, relish, jams and many other flavours. Delivcious with a glass of Prosecco or rosé wine.
The Campagnolo looks superb too and makes an elegant and charming guest at any dinner table!
NB This is an artisan cheese made by hand and weights may vary slightly.
