This is a multi award winning Parmesan cheese from the beautiful mountain area around Bologna and Modena. It is a mature Parmesan aged for a minimum of 30 months at the Fior di Latte Caseificio or cheese workshop.
Aging gives it a stronger character than younger Parmesans, with a harder, crunchier consistency and a wonderful persistent fruit/nut taste.
Loved by adults and children alike, it can be grated onto stronger tasting sauces and is lovely in a salad, but try it on its own with an aged balsamic vinegar and a glass of fine wine. Pure gastronomic heaven!
This Parmigiano is very special and is one of our signature products. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better one (and if you do we would love to know about it!).

Situated in the beautiful mountain area of the Parmigiano Reggiano DOP region surrounded by lush green meadows, the conditions are perfect for milk production.
The dairy is a cooperative of 100 small farms that produce small quantities of excellent milk destined for cheese production. Artisan experts then transform this milk using timeless methods to produce this lovely Parmesan cheese which is sold in 2 small local shops near the farm.
This Parmesan has won many awards including 2 gold medals at the Cheese Olympics in Verona! It has also won a prestigious Double Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards, the Oscars of gourmet food in the UK!
