Pesto is a traditional sauce origination in Genoa and is now one of the famous sauces in the world.
It should then be blended with Extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts and quality cheese. Most pestos use cheaper substitutes, but Poddi Tartufi refuses to compromise on quality.
The ingredients are processed slowly and carefully at low temperatures to capture all their freshness and flavour. The result is a wonderfully aromatic and full flavoured pesto which exhalts the fresh basil and is perfect for pasta dishes (trofie, linguine or spaghetti are the classics), potato salads, risotto and with boiled meats.
