This delicious organic pasta, from the Girolomoni-Montebello organic farm in Le Marche, is made from a special, ancient variety of durum wheat called Senatore Capelli. It has more nutrients than other durum wheats and maintains its shape during cooking to give delightful results.
This Fusilli (little spindles) pasta is very versatile and combines perfectly with many tomato and cream sauces, tuna, as a basis for a pasta salads and is great in a casserole or baked in the oven.
THE GIROLOMONI MONTEBELLO ORGANIC PASTA RANGE
The farm is based in a beautiful area of Le Marche and are one of Italy’s first organic farms. The pasta is dried slowly at low temperatures to preserve all its nutrients and goodness, then drawn through bronze moulds to create a rough surface which helps to bind sauces better. It encompasses the philosophy which underpins the Girolomoni-Montebello range: genuine flavour, vitality and simplicity in all ingredients used.
