Permont’s 1940 is a young, fresh and cheerful cava, made from a classic blend of Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada varieties following the traditional method.
Perfect at any time as an apertivo or with rice dishes, fish and seafood.
For the third consecutive year, the cava has been awarded 4 red stars by the Peñín guide for incredible value for money: A quality cava at a great price.
It has fine and constant perlage with abundant foam. It is fresh, dry and balanced with notes of nuts and pastry and clear presence of citrus fruit, apple and melon.
A refreshing, pure brut nature which is sugar free and its moderate consumption is suitable for diabetics.
DID YOU KNOW?
All Cavas are made Brut Nature, or without sugar. The regulations however allow up to 3 gr of sugar per litre to be added without indicating on the label.
Adding sugar to a brut nature is only justified when the cava is not “round” (balanced, with correct acidity). This is known as the makeup effect: the added sugar conceals imperfections!
