Fine Italian Cured Meat Hamper

A fantastic combination of finest quality Tuscan cured meats by Gelli Salumeria from Siena.

Made from traditional recipes and artisan production methods, every mouthful is full of Tuscan flavour. Presented in a lovely and sturdy rustic hamper filled with natural coloured shred and covered with decorative wrapping.

WHAT’S IN THE HAMPER

Pancetta (300g approx) – This is the real stuff! Tuscan Pancetta is perfect for classic dishes like Carbonara but also adds flavour to hundreds of other sauces or soffriti. Just dice and fry! The Pancetta is cured with Tuscan spices and plenty of black pepper and the meat comes from the Tuscan cinta which is renowned for its sweetness and aromatic quality. Fennel Salami (180g approx) – This Fennel salami or Finocchiona is our best selling salami, made from premium quality pork with the addition of wild fennel seeds and aromatic Tuscan herbs. It has a soft texture and really does melt in your mouth. The herbs and wild fennel extend their flavours and combine perfectly with the lean pork during the curing process to produce a stunning version of this Tuscan classic. A guaranteed hit for any occasion!

Milano Salami (400g approx) – A favourite in every kitchen. The salami is fine grained and very tender. Made from best quality pork and cured using ancient timeless recipes, the result is a great salami with a delicate yet meaty and persistent taste. Great as an antipasti or served alongside hard cheeses.

Napoli Sausage (700g approx) – The Salsicca Napoli is Italy’s version of Chorizo and is our best selling salami. The rich pork meat is cured with red chillis and the result is a superb example of spicy sausage. It tastes delicious and the chilli heat very slowly builds up delivering a fine crescendo at the finale. It is ideal for pizza, jambalaya, paella, tomato based pasta dishes or on an antipasti platter.
