Fig Bread Pan de Higos is a lovely fruity bread cake which goes divinely with all kinds of cheese and desserts and delicious at as a snack at any time of the day.
There’s really no bread to it at all. It is simply figs, dates, candied oranges, apricots, and almonds mixed together into a sturdy paste, formed into a patty ready for slicing.
Store as fresh fruit in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight. Do not refrigerate.
