In Italy, Orzo pasta comes under different names but they all refer to small barley (orzo) or rice-grain shaped pasta. Ours is called Rosemarino and is made from quality organic durum wheat which holds its texture and firmness perfectly while cooking (particularly important with Orzo pasta otherwise you might end up with a gooey mess!).

Orzo pasta is one of the most popular shapes for soups and, because of its size and texture, is excellent as a base for healthy meals for babies and young children – try it mixed with pureed veg. or in a broth.
