These are fantastic ingredients to have in the store cupboard. They are far far better and tastier than any tinned beans I have tried – and they come with a lovely liquid that is great for thickening stews etc when the beans are added. If I don’t use the full jar at one go I just pop the remainder in the freezer (in the jar) and they defrost fine.
