This is a super version of cous-cous with a lovely intense golden colour and medium grain, which is smaller than most couscous commonly found today. The grains are also irregularly shaped, just like a real homemade version!

It has been specially produced to have an incredibly low moisture content. This has 2 benefits. It can be stored for long periods and it has superb hydroscopic properties, which means during cooking, it will absorb a huge amount of liquid, so much it actually triples in weight! That’s precisely what you want from a good cous-cous.

It is perfect for all the classic recipes from N Africa, the Middle East, not forgetting Sicily and Calabria too. Granoro couscous is also excellent as a base for scrumptious desserts.
