Montilla-Moriles is a D.O. (Denominación de Origen) wine region just south of Cordoba made from 100% Pedro Ximenez grape. The wines from Montilla-Moriles are stylistically close to sherry but not fortified so are a touch lighter, yet fresh and aromatic.
This fine example of a Montilla Moriles fino from the wonderful Cobos winery should be drunk comparatively young and as a normal wine, once opened it should be consumed relatively quickly.
Pale gold in colour. Light and delicate on the palate leaving a pleasant, fresh after taste of almonds.
Type: Fino
Alcohol: 15 %
Grape: 100% Pedro Ximenez
Volume: 0,75 cl

Thank you so much for stocking this. Montilla wines are so underrated. This is a beaut, slightly fuller than some, with a slightly apply aftertaste. Montilla finos vary, but quality is high.
