SUGGESTIONS – HOW TO USE Artichoke hearts are an indispensable ingredient on the Italian antipasto platter. They are delicious on their own or as part of a set of tapenades. Try them served with cured meats and they go perfectly with all kinds of cheeses from fresh and creamy to aged and potent. Chop them up with cherry tomatoes and a pinch of pepperoncino for a delicious homemade bruschetta. They will play a major part in any vegetable medley. You might try them as a main ingredient in a pasta sauce. They are heavenly with Carnaroli or Arborio rice in an artichoke based risotto. Wonderful too as a side to roast meats, in green salads and rice and potato salads. They also make a classy pizza topping.
